Responsibilities
- Estimation and Cost Planning/ Budgeting – including presenting the final
- cost plan to client & obtaining approvals.
- • Procurement Strategy and managing the procurement process, ensuring
- thoroughness through all stages including pre-qualification, RFP, Techno
- Commercial analysis of proposals, selection and contract preparation
- through to award.
- • Applying value engineering techniques at the outset of a project and
- involving the design team and client
- • Preparing Commercial Reports, Cash Flow statement, Budget vs Actual
- analysis, Post contract Cost Management, variation order management,
- Commercial Closure
Must Have
- Must possess a reasonable understanding of the cost management functions
- needed for interior fit-out projects, such as creating project budgets, cost
- benchmarking, techno-commercial bids, cash flows, bill certifications, tracking
- financial forecast and invoices, review of BOQs, change order management etc
